E-mu Systems was one of the first companies to harness the power of digital sampling for musicians.
This popular classic E-mu E6400 Emulator professional Digital Sampling Synthesizer from 1996 comes with Version 3.00B Software, 128MB memory, and a 64 channel card installed. At 128MB, the E6400 supplies more than 12 minutes of stereo sampling at 44.1kHz.
The E6400 is extremely easy to use thanks to its automated sampling tasks. The unit will automatically choose ideal looping points for click- free loops. It will also normalize waveforms, boosting weak input signals to optimum levels. Waveform data can be cut, copied and pasted.
There is a large display screen, 64 note polyphony, Z-plane filters and SCSI connection with included external CD Rom drive for loading samples from disc. A library of 10 original E-mu sample Cds is included, plus a range of custom samples on the internal hard drive.
