E-mu Systems was one of the first companies to harness the power of digital sampling for musicians.
This popular classic E-mu E6400 ULTRA Emulator professional Digital Sampling Synthesizer from 1999 increased the power, speed and capabilites of the original ER6400.
The E-mu E6400 ULTRA Sampler is 64-voice polyphonic, has 16MB RAM (expandable up to 128MB), 16-times MIDI-Multimode, 24bit Stereo Effect Processor and 8 balanced outputs (expandable to 16).
32 Voice Layering, and Virtual PatchCord System.
Features: 64 Voice Polyphony: Layer/Playback/Split Z-Plane Filters (21 Different Types: Low, Band, High Pass, Notch, EQ, Vocal, Flange, Phaser, and Multi) + Advanced Modulation of Synthesis Parameters 16 MIDI channels (IN/OUT/THRU). 2 Analog Inputs/8 Analog Audio Outputs. Built-in SCSI Port.
There is no internal drive with this unit and no accompanying discs, but it has been used linked via SCSI to the other E6400 unit available, so that samples can be loaded from that unit’s internal hard drive and external CD Rom drive.
